Description
Portland Press Herald photographers captured a young student sitting at her desk, dressed as a witch for a Halloween party or school event circa 1935.
Each year around Halloween, the Portland Press Herald and Evening Express covered the festivities held at schools around the Portland area, often sending photographers to document the children's costumes to feature in the newspaper prominently.
