Description
This small pewter teapot, made by Robert Bush & Co in Bristol, England features a wooden handle and a hinged lid. It features a crudely incised design, one side with a crest and the Latin motto, "Nemo Impu: Lacecit," which means "No one attacks me with impunity." This phrase is historically associated with Scotland. The other side is inscribed with "Jordan," and a horned animal head, possibly a stag.
