Description
Belt given to W. M. Roberts by the Bar Harbor Fire Department. Mr. Roberts donated the first ladder unit. It was originally called the W. M. Roberts Hook and Ladder Company #1 and on April 7, 1891 it was reformed as the W. M. Roberts Hook and Ladder Company #2. W. M. Roberts was never a member of the fire department but he was honored for his donation.
