Description
Sarah Brastow of Holden married Joshua Chamberlain, Jr. in 1827. She was the mother of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain who was a member of the 20th Maine Volunteers in the Civil War, and went on to become Maine's governor from 1866-1869.
