Description
Puck Magazine ran a series of cartoons critical of Maine Republican James G. Blaine, who was serving as secretary of state. When Blaine ran for president in 1884, Puck opposed his election with political cartoons. This 1889 cartoon suggests Blaine was again eyeing the presidency.
