Boston Post cartoonist W. Norman Ritchie drew this cartoon about the styles of the three major candidates for president in 1924 -- Republican Calvin Coolidge, Democrat John W. Davis, and progressive Robert La Follette.
Charles Dana Gibson, creator of the Gibson girl drawings that depicted the stylish woman of the pre-1920s era, lived in Maine.
