Description
Mary Todd Lincoln, who was born in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1818, married Abraham Lincoln in 1842. The couple had four sons. Lincoln was assassinated in April 1865 while in his second term as president. Mary Todd Lincoln mourned his loss until the end of her life. She died in 1882.
