Description
This is a segment of cloth was woven at the Worumbo textile mill on the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls. The Worumbo was established in 1864, and later gained international acclaim for their Sterling cloths- textiles of pure wool delicate enough to be used in fine women's gowns.
This piece of pink, green, and white plaid was hand-woven from wool strands on a loom at the Worumbo.
