Description
This game ball is from the Lisbon Falls Baseball League of the 1920's. This ball, from 1929, has been signed by the Lisbon Falls team, and it has been dedicated to the manager, Dan S., whose last name cannot be made out. The words "American Legion" are also written on the ball.
The players who signed the ball were:
M.W. Yascko, (pitcher)
G.F. Bachelder, (left field)
H.T. Atwood, (right field)
The 1929 Lisbon Falls American Legion Junior Baseball Team won the State of Maine Championship, the New England Championship, and went on to compete in the semi-final game of the Eastern United States Championship.
