Description
The Harriet Beecher Stowe House, also known as the Benjamin Titcomb House, 63 Federal Street, Brunswick. Built c. 1807. The Stowe family rented this house for the two years they lived in Brunswick: 1850-1852. Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote her famous novel here, "Uncle Tom'sCabin." In the twentieth century, the house was used as an Inn and restaurant.
