Description

Sarah Jane Farmer (1847-1916) was the figure behind the development of the Green Acre Baha'i School in Eliot.

During the late 1800s and early 1900s, Green Acre became a gathering place for philosophers and religionists. She gave the property to the Baha'is of the United States and as of 2021, serves as a conference and retreat center.
