Description
First Lieutenant Stephen Naas of Presque Isle and his crew are shown at the Presque Isle Army Air Base in 1943. The local airfield became a military base in 1941, serving largely to transport equipment, supplies, and personnel to Great Britain.
Lieutenant Naas flew B-24 and B-26 bombers during World War II.
