Description
This hay thief has a gorgeous original twisted wood handle and a single prong, rather than a double prong. This tool is also known as a hay hook and was used for testing hay. Hay thiefs would characterize most any 18th century New England farmyard though most specimens would not be the spectacular sculpture object that this one is.
Size: 34" long including 18" handle.
