Description
Persis Sibley was19 when she painted this theorem fan.
Sibley, who grew up in Freedom, was single until age 28, when she married Charles Andrews, an Augusta lawyer.
Theorem painters used a variety of stencils for each painting, which allowed them to create vivid pictures.
