Description
Dave Glovsky of Portland (1909-1997) ran a popular guessing booth at Old Orchard Beach from 1945 to the 1990s.
He also had been in the moving business in Portland and, in his youth, a boxer. He was often called "Dave the Guesser." Glovsky appeared on the David Letterman show in 1985.
