Description
Self-propelled horseless Steam Engine 5 working at Kennebec Street and Forest Avenue in Portland in about 1912. It was being tested.
The driver steered the vehicle while the stoker controlled the speed and brakes.
The engine was assigned to the 380 Congress Street Firehouse.
