Description
Mary Tarbox Walker is the elderly woman sitting in the back row. Her daughters are Susan, an educator, who died in 1905 (age 78), Sarah, a home body, who died at age 38, and sitting left of Mary is Eva, an artist, who died in August of 1903 (age 36).
Eva was also a teacher in New York prior to returning to Fryeburg at the time of her death. Eva's family lived on Walker Island Farm.
