Description
This replica of a sculpture of President Abraham Lincoln's right hand created by Leonard W. Volk, father of Fryeburg artist and resident, Douglas Volk.
The sculpture of the hand was made in the President's Springfield home following Lincoln's presidential nomination. President Lincoln posed in Chicago in 1860 so Volk could create a life mask and bust.
