Description
This flour barrel is clamped to a steel rod that runs from the bottom of the cabinet to the bottom of the counter top making a pivot point so the barrel can be swung in and out from under the counter top. Easy access to and storage of flour was essential for a farmer's wife who may need to make ten or more loaves of bread each day to feed her family and the farm workers.
This 200 pound barrel of Wingold vitamin B enriched flour was made by the Bay State Milling Company of Winona, Minnesota.
