Description
Note to Bowdoin College Professor Parker Cleaveland (1780-1858) from Benjamin Vaughan of Hallowell about an appointment to Hallowell Academy and about a collection trip to the White Mountains that another colleague was planning.
Cleaveland was Bowdoin's first professor of mathematics and natural philosophy and also taught chemistry and mineralogy.
