Description
Howard K. Dearborn, inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and engineer, began his career in Ohio. This interior photograph shows the Howard Manufacturing Company in Berea, Ohio where aluminum bars were fashioned for use in airplane engines. Howard Dearborn relocated to Fryeburg, Maine and continued inventing equipment for the nuclear and aircraft industries.
