Description
The Dearborn Inn at Kearsarge, New Hampshire was owned and operated by Howard K. Dearborn and his family. Dearborn, inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and engineer, began his career in Ohio with Howard Manufacturing Company. He brought his family to Kearsarge, New Hampshire in the late 1940s and ran this inn near the base of Mount Cranmore. Later, he relocated to Fryeburg, Maine and continued inventing equipment for the nuclear and aircraft industries starting the Dearborn Precision Tubular Products, Inc. facility in Fryeburg.
