Description
Howard K. Dearborn's heated sleighmobile, built for the comfort and transport of Dearborn Inn guests to the slopes of nearby Mt. Cranmore.
Howard K. Dearborn, inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist and engineer, began his career as an inventor in Ohio. He relocated to Kearsarge, N.H., in the late 1940s and ran the Dearborn Inn.
Later, he moved to Fryeburg and continued inventing equipment for the nuclear and aircraft industries and opened the Dearborn Precision Tubular Products facility in Fryeburg.
