Description
The Sphinx, a formation along Chamberlain Lake. Henry L. Withee of Rockport and Horace A. Bailey of Reading, Massachusetts, took the photo while canoeing from Northeast Carry on the West Branch of the Penobscot to Fort Kent, along the Allagash.
