Description
Mr. and Mrs. Weed Wetmore, Houlton. Mr. Wetmore bought the Stanley Steamer Carriage after 1900 while he lived at Smyrna Mills.
Wetmore, who was the Smyrna Mills station agent, put telephones in the station and several stores and houses, leading to organization of the Farmers Independent Telephone Company that brought telephones to hundreds of farm houses.
