Description
Madame Lillian Nordica, an opera singer from Farmington, sang Max Strange's Damon (Die Bekehrte) As I Roamed the Woods at Leisure, in this short audio recording.
It was recorded April 29, 1910 and is one of 14 surviving recordings. The commercial recordings were made by Columbia Phonograph Co., New York. All records were 12-inch discs and E. Romayne Simmons played the piano accompaniments.
