Description
1894 stock certificate for Wood Automatic Turbine Water-Wheel Company (organized July 29, 1892). The certificate belonged to Frank W. Wood, a lifelong resident of East Baldwin. He was related to the Woods that ran Woods Mill. The certificate reads as follows:
No. 61 3279 Shares
Wood Automatic Turbine Water-Wheel Company
This is to Certify that Frank W. Wood is the owner of
Thirty-two hundred and seventy-nine Shares in the Capital Stock of the
Wood Automatic Turbine Water Wheel Company
full paid and unassessable, transferable only on the Books of the Company, in person as by
Attorney on the surrender of this Certificate
In Witness Whereof, the President and Treasurer have hereunto sub-
scribed their names and caused the Seal of the Company to be affixed
this nineteenth day of June A.D. 1894
