Description
The Maine Central Mountain Division Railroad station at West Baldwin was located about a mile north of the Cornish Station. It was 33.42 miles from Portland. It was just down the hill from the Burnell Tavern in West Baldwin Village. Chester Burnell was Station Agent there in late 1919 and early 1920. The West Baldwin Station was closed on September 9, 1930.
