Description
Liverpool pitcher with the Battle of Tripoli on one side and a portrait of Edward Preble on the other.
Preble, a native of Portland, commanded the American Squadron including the USS Constitution.
The text reads, "Commodore Prebles squadron attacking the City of Tripoli Aug. 3 1804. Commodore Preble E. Pluribus Unum."
