Description
Scaffolding covers the construction of the new Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston in a photo taken in 1935. The old Sts. Peter and Paul Church was demolished in 1905 because it was too small. Only a basement was completed of the new church until 1934 when construction began on the rest of the structure.
