Description
John Braser Davis married Laura Matilda Gay Davis in 1826. He died in 1834, as did their infant child and, shortly after, Laura Davis.
The full-length silhouette has elaborate "bronzed" details. It is similar in style to those made by itinerant artist William H. Brown.
