Description
Theodore Barrell of Boston wrote to his brother, Nathaniel of York, concerning family matters, a debt the brothers were owed, and his optimism that the war will soon be over.
Nathaniel Barrell was a loyalist during the American Revolution, but remained in York after the war. The brothers' business dealings apparently suffered during the conflict.
