Description
The watchman's camp at the old fire lookout at Schoodic Mountain. The Forest Service had lookout towers and small camps for watchmen on many Maine mountains.
The old wood tower at Schoodic began operations in 1914.
In 1917, Fred S. Bunker of Franklin was the chief warden and Howard Webb of North Sullivan was the watchman.
