Description
The Blanchard Cottage on Diamond Island before renovations. It was sold in 1941 for $500.
The Blanchard sisters built the cottage in 1888. The Seymanns purchased it in 1941 and the Boylans in 1959.
All of the owners of the cottage lived or live in New York City.
It is one of the few few cottages within the Diamond Island Association that remains relatively unchanged since 1888, including the original gas lights and furniture.
