Letter from a fellow soldier, Pvt. W.G. Hastings of the 103rd Medical Dept., to the parents of John Arthur Stowell (1894-1918) from 'somewhere in France," June 20, 1918 describing Artie's heroism on the front lines in France, his wounds and treatment before death and expressing sympathy.
