Description
The W.W. Thomas Memorial Music Bowl was built at Thomas Park in New Sweden and housed band concerts and celebrations during the summer. It was built in 1937. The excellent acoustical properties of the band shell allowed listeners in the audiance to hear whispering on the stage without the use of an amplifier. It is large enough to seat a 30 piece band.
