Description
John Bloomstrand's General Store was one of the first to be erected in New Sweden.
Bloomstrand was born in Sweden in about 1873. He died in 1951 and is buried in Capitol Hill Cemetery in New Sweden.
He and his wife, Edith Olson, lived near the old AVR Station. The store was near their home.
