Description
Anson Peaslee Morrill (1803-1887), governor of Maine from 1855 to 1856, represented Maine's fourth district in the United States House of Representatives from 1861 to 1863 and served in the Maine Legislature.
After his term as governor, Morrill served as president of the Maine Central Railroad.
