Description
Samuel Waldo (1695-1759) a wealthy landowner from Falmouth, served during the capture of Louisburg, Cape Breton, in 1745 from the French.
He was a proprietor for the Waldo Patent, lands in Maine bounded by the Muscongus and Penobscot rivers in what is now Waldo County.
