Description
Charles Jarvis of Ellsworth, saved copies on one sheet of paper of three letters he wrote in November 1863: one attempting to reconnect with his brother, Edward, who had gone to California during the Gold Rush; one to his nephew, S. K. Whiting, settling an estate; and one to his brother, Joseph, also relating to settlement of an estate.
