Description
Josiah Pierce (1756-1830) wrote from Flintstown (Baldwin) to Phebe Thompson (1762-1839) of Woburn, Massachusetts, on October 28, 1786, telling her how much he missed her and commenting that he was getting the house ready that they would live in after they married.
He comments in a postscript that he has included an acrostic, but the bottom of that page of the letter is missing.
