John Dillingham to wife, 1846

Description

Sea captain John Dillingham wrote from New York to his wife, Margaret, of Freeport, that he would not be returning home as expected because he'd been assigned another job, taking the Brig Rowland of Thomaston to Gibralter.

He sent his wife money and discussed some financial matters.
