Description
The tallies for the United War Work Campaign in Portland during World War I. Various groups took on portions of the fund-raising campaign. The United War Work Campaign was a joint effort on behalf of the American Library Association, Jewish Welfare Board, National Catholic War Council, The Salvation Army, War Camp Community Service, and both the Y.M.C.A. and Y.W.C.A.
The giant poster announcing totals was on display in Monument Square.
