Description
N.S. Littlefield, Theodore Ingalls, Richard Davis, Benjamin Walker, and Stephen Gibbs wrote to Josiah Pierce, George W. Pierce, J. Smith, and D. Brackett expressing their concern that if a legislative petition for a new town were approved, the Democrats would lose their hard-fought-for majority in the Maine Legislature.
