Loammi Baldwin on failure to pay taxes, 1804

Description

Loammi Baldwin (1744-1807) of Woburn, Massachusetts, wrote to Josiah Pierce (1756-1830) of Baldwin informing him that he had failed to pay the taxes on property they owned and that the matter had gone to the sheriff.

Baldwin also told Pierce that he would be in Maine soon in regard to the Cumberland and Falmouth canals.
