Description
James F. Baldwin wrote from Boston to Josiah Pierce of Baldwin, discussing money related to the lands owned by Pierce and Baldwin's father, Loammi Baldwin. Pierce had agreed to purchase the land when his partnership with Loammi Baldwin split up, paying a "mortgage" to Baldwin and his heirs.
James Baldwin sought payment of a number of bills.
