Description
O.V. Libby's store later became S.J. Nowell's and finally Shaw's Hardware. The current address of this location is 901 Main Street. Bennett & Clark's Dry Goods is on the right side of the building. The second floor houses Bennett & Clark's Ladies and Gentleman's Furnishings. The stairs on the left side of the building descended to Job Printing. An advertisment for "Neal of the Navy" (1915) at the Colonial Theater is affixed to a telephone pole. The building to the right is G.W. Huff (see Sanford image B164).
