Description
Standing in front of pilot Harry Jones' plane are H. Gifford, president of Bell Telephone Company, second from right, and Harry M. Jones, right.
The two people at left are not identified.
Jones wrote that on July 19, 1927, Gifford had his first airplane ride with him at Old Orchard Beach. Gifford said he would see that the company bought some airplanes.
Jones operated an airport and flying service at Old Orchard from 1919-1933.
