Description
An aerial view of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church on Cottage Road in South Portland near Broadway.
The church, built in 1958, replaced an older church at the same site. Its 90-foot tower features a mosaic of 250,000 pieces of Venetian glass.
Tiles had fallen from the tower in 1959 and again in 1960, when this photo was taken.
