Description
High Street school in Caribou, at left, served grades 5 to 8. From 1891 to 1909, it served as the high school.
On the right is the Caribou Grammar School, which housed grades 1 to 4 until 1950. It then served as the city office until 1977.
This photo is from a series collected and displayed by Olof O. Nylander in 1922. The photos showed homes, businesses and community members from New Sweden, Woodland, Perham and Caribou.
